Cómo lo hago:
A
veces dibujo mientras escucho videos o música. Otras, en
silencio y si es posible, a solas, ya que mientras dibujo entro en mi, a la vez que desaparezco y no estoy para nadie.
Soy
consciente de que no tengo todo el control sobre mi proceso creativo ya
que ni siquiera sé lo que voy a dibujar hasta que termino un dibujo.
Las imágenes aparecen de repente y lo único que yo hago es
atraparlas en una lámina. Suelo enlazar un dibujo con otro o
incluso con varios hechos previamente ya que, como si se tratara de un puzzle, todos son piezas de la misma historia. En este caso, la mía.
Solo
cuando los termino, puedo ponerles título y entender por
completo su significado. No podría hacer un borrador o planear lo
que voy a dibujar por adelantado. Simplemente, me entran ganas,
comienzo y me dejo llevar. Ese es el motivo por el cuál
cuando dibujo me sumerjo en un estado de trance muy placentero , una especie de estado hipnótico que me hace sentir totalmente plena.

How I do it:
Sometimes
I draw while listening to videos or music. Others, in silence
and if possible, I prefer doing it alone because when I draw I am in
me as well as I dissapear and I am not in for anybody.
I
am aware that I am not fully in control of my creative process
as I do not ever know what I am going to draw until I finish a
picture. Images appear out of the blue and the only thing I do is to
trap them on a piece of paper. I often join one picture to
another or even to more as, like a puzzle, all my drawings are pieces of the same story. In this case, mine.
It
is only when I finish a drawing that I can title it and fully
understand what it means. I could not ever make a sketch or plan of
what I am going to draw in advance. I simply feel drawing, start
doing it and let myself go. That is the reason why when I draw I
enter in a pleasant state of trance, a sort of a hypnotic state that makes me feel good.
