El término árabe Maktub significa “estaba escrito” y significa algo así como que el destino es el encargado de fijar todo lo que nos pasa.
Que lo que tiene que suceder siempre encontrará la forma de manifestarse, no lo pongo en duda.
Pensar que todo está escrito ya, a veces me provoca alivio, y otras, me parece una putada.
Si me gusta la palabra Maktub es porque nos anima a tomarnos las cosas con calma, y aunque nos toquen malas cartas, a seguir apostando fuerte sin temor a quedarnos en bancarrota.
Con esto no estoy diciendo que nos dediquemos a ir de bingo en bingo para gastarnos hasta el último céntimo (Raramente me juego dinero porque siempre encuentro mejores cosas en qué emplearlo).
Me refiero a poner el corazón en todo lo que hagamos. Especialmente cuando, según nuestro criterio, los demás no se lo merezcan.
Si como dicen, la partida ya está echada, suceda lo que suceda, todo son ganancias.
¿Te lamentas de todo lo que has perdido? Recuerda que llegaste sin nada.
¿Te entran ganas de matar a alguien? ¡Huye!
¿Sientes que no te estiman? Pues, ¡quiérete el doble!
"Está escrito" que nunca nadie te querrá mejor que tú a ti mismo.
Quiérete más, y los que no te valoran, ¡que se jodan!
The Arabic word Maktub means ‘it was written’ and it means something like destiny is in charge of fixing everything that happens to us.
That what has to happen will always find a way to manifest itself, I don't doubt it.
To think that everything is already written, sometimes I am relieved and sometimes it shocks me.
If I like the word Maktub, it is because it encourages us to take things calmly and, even if we are dealt a bad hand, continue to bet big without fear of going bankrupt.
By this I am not saying that we should be going to the bingos and spending every penny (I rarely gamble money because I always have better things to do with it).
I mean putting our hearts into everything we do, especially when we think others don't deserve it.
If, as they say, the game is already up for grabs, whatever happens, it's all profit.
Do you regret all that you have lost? Remember that you came with nothing.
Do you feel like murdering someone? Run away!
Do you feel you are not appreciated? Then love yourself twice as much.
"It is written" that no one can ever love you better than you to yourself.
Love yourself more, and those who don't value you, fuck them!
