LA ETERNIDAD ES MI PATRIA

Me considero apolítica, planetaria, no tengo ni quiero carnet de religión, y nada patriótica, ¡porque ni siquiera creo en las fronteras! 

Me anclo a la única idea que sospecho que me acompañará el resto de mi vida, a la única verdad a la que siento que todos podemos anclarnos para siempre:

 "Sólo nos sostiene el poder sagrado que habita en nosotros. Ese es y siempre será el verdadero centro de nuestras vidas".

Las ideas de patriotismo nos separan más que nos unen. Nos llevan a compararnos, a creernos más, mejores, especiales, diferentes.... 

En mi humilde opinión, ha llegado el momento de ir más allá, de cambiar nuestra limitada perspectiva del mundo, de esperar a que otro venga a salvarnos, de identificarnos con un trozo de tierra y una determinada cultura... ¡El mundo es tan grande! 

Es hora de poner los pies en la tierra y asumir la responsabilidad de nuestras vidas, pero sin perder de vista el cielo que no tiene límites. 

Si no estás de acuerdo con lo que digo, no importa, sea lo que sea respeto tu opinión. Cuento con que la vida es un baile, en el que cada uno baila a su ritmo, y como dice la canción de los Beatles que sirvió de banda sonora a este dibujo: LET IT BE.

ETERNITY IS MY HOMELAND

I consider myself apolitical, planetary, I don't have or want a religion card, and not at all patriotic, because I don't even believe in borders!

I anchor myself to the only idea that I suspect will accompany me for the rest of my life, to the only truth that I feel we can all anchor ourselves to forever:

"We are sustained only by the sacred power that dwells within us. That is and always will be the true center of our lives."

The ideas of patriotism separate us more than unite us. They lead us to compare ourselves, to believe we are more, better, special, different....

In my humble opinion, the time has come to move beyond that, to change our limited perspective of the world, to wait for someone else to come and save us, to identify ourselves with a piece of land and a certain culture...The world is so big!

It is time to put our feet firmly on the ground and take responsibility for our lives, but without losing sight of the sky that has no limits.

If you don't agree with what I say, it doesn't matter, whatever it is I respect your opinion. I count on the fact that life is a dance, in which everyone dances to his own rhythm, and as the Beatles' song that served as the soundtrack for this drawing says: LET IT BE.
