Hoy, para variar, sí me acuerdo de la edad que tengo.
-Te estás volviendo "vintage"- le he dicho esta mañana a mi reflejo en el espejo, que todavía no se cree que lleve medio siglo dando tumbos, embutida en este cuerpo al que tengo tanto que agradecer!
Lo mejor de cumplir 50 es que nunca me lo imaginé, y la fiesta que celebré por adelantado, ¡que ya no estamos para postergar!
Lo peor, pararme a pensar en todo el tiempo que habré perdido, y lo poco que me gusta envejecer.
¡A quién le importa!
No perdamos más tiempo.
La cuestión es celebrar hoy, y mañana también.
Today, for a change, I do remember how old I am.
-You're getting vintage- I said this morning to my reflection in the mirror, who still can't believe I've been stumbling around for half a century in this body, which I am so thankful!
The best thing about turning 50 is that I never imagined it, and the party I celebrated in advance. Too old to postergate it!
The worst thing, stop and think about all the time I will have wasted and how little I like getting older.
Who cares!
Let's not waste any more time.
The point is to celebrate today, and tomorrow too.
